22nd January 2024Our volunteer accredited Carer Health Champion will be facilitating two sessions a month where you will have the opportunity to sit or stand and do an exercise session, learn to use your body, stretch, raise your heartbeat, and have some disco fun.

23rd January 2024Carers are offered four, one-hour sessions where they are able to discuss the pressures and issues of the caring role and given coping mechanisms and strategies to effectively manage their caring role. These are provided either face to face, virtually on Zoom, or by telephone.

So, come and have relaxing meditations and stress-reduction techniques in a friendly setting with plenty of tea and biscuits. A space for supportive conversation and sharing experience, simple guided meditations to unwind, stress-reducing tips to help you in your life.

24th January 2024This weekly peer support group enables Young Adult Carers to access a range of activities which are co-produced and relevant to them, such as self-care and personal empowerment workshops. They may also choose to use these sessions to discuss their caring role with staff or simply for ‘chill out’ time in order to connect with other Young Adult Carers and get a break from their caring roles. Food and drink are provided.

25th January 2024This group is for carers to learn a craft, develop a hobby, and enjoy some free time. Carers will get to have fun with other carers. This group is also a peer support group and recognises the mental health needs of carers, carers of people with a mental health issue, you can also bring the person you care for. Materials, refreshments, and fun will be supplied. We start a new advanced photography course.

25th January 2024This weekly group enables carers feeling isolated to connect with local residents, carers will have the chance to undertake health and nutrition classes, exercise classes, advice, fun and games. We work in partnership with St Joseph’s Hospice and Tower Hamlets Public Health

26th January 2024Working with our partner, ELATT, this learning group is for carers, to learn English as a second language, participants will have an academic year of learning including how carers can learn English to help with their caring roles through conversation with health providers.
IT Suite Drop InIT Suite Drop In

26th January 2024Our IT suite is open to carers, carers who are students, carers writing CV’s and job applications, online food shopping or just want to check your emails once a week to catch up, meet other carers and have some mental respite. We do not have a printer and cannot print copies for you, we ask you to be proficient enough to manage on your own as staff can provide minimum support as they are busy with their own work.
