Hello Everyone

How are you doing? enjoying the warmer weather? Happy the snow and minus temperatures have gone? Personally, I love the snow, not to keen on minus seven at night and cannot bear the treacherous ice.

Here’s hoping you all are bearing up under this lockdown, I do feel that we are moving towards a more positive future.  I am still advising you to take up the vaccine when it is offered and where possible don’t forget to mention to your GP that you are a carer and have that recorded on your notes.

Don’t Forget Today is ………

Be inspired and do something kind – we know carers do this every day and we thank you for your kindness.

Local Women graduating from the inaugural BaME Dare to Lead Leadership course at account3 have created an animation to raise awareness of domestic abuse in their community.

SiS (Sistas in Strength), the animation produced in collaboration with Bristol based animation firm, Studio Giggle, is an allegorical tale of a woman feeling trapped and alone in a world of psychological, physical, sexual, financial, and emotional abuse. The animation puts a fresh perspective on a challenging subject, whilst reinforcing the essential point that no one needs to feel or be alone – help is always available.
