Welcome to the Health & Wellbeing section – a unique and dynamic service provided by The Carers Centre Tower Hamlets.


We provide a holistic wide range of activities; workshops; and groups that encourages carers to connect, learn and feel supported in maintaining and improving their own health and wellbeing. This can help you effectively manage your caring role.

We have designed all our services directly with carers to ensure that they are
person-centred, relevant, and accessible. Click on each heading to know more of what is on offer:

Keep Learning
Learning new skills can improve your emotional and mental wellbeing by boosting self-confidence and raising self-esteem and help build a sense of purpose.

Connect with Others
Good relationships are important for your health and emotional wellbeing. They help build a sense of belonging, self-worth, and provide positive experiences.

Take Notice
Being Mindful and paying more attention to the present moment, your thoughts and feelings can help improve your health and emotional wellbeing.

Give to others
Acts of giving and kindness can create positive feelings and a sense of reward, giving you a feeling of purpose and self-worth.

Be Active
Being active is not only great for your physical health and fitness it also has great advantages in improving your mental wellbeing.

Health
Being proactive about your health can include exercise, healthy eating, taking medications as directed, regular health checkups, practicing mindfulness,
and reducing stress.
