We have a trainee counsellor who will offer six one-hour sessions to carers. The wellbeing team will triage our waiting list, and the counsellor will undertake the sessions to enable carers feel better equipped to manage their caring role. These are provided either face to face, virtually on Zoom.

Each month Fathama our Hospital Worker leads a drop in session for carers who are caring for their elderly and frail loved ones so, please come and pop in if you can make it and get some wonderful support, information and advice and you get the chance to meet other carers who experiencing the same things.

Built over the 18th and 19th centuries by the Marquesses of Hertford and Sir Richard Wallace, it is one of the finest and most celebrated collections in the world.
The Collection was given to the British Nation in 1897 by Lady Wallace, so that it could be kept together and enjoyed by generations of visitors. It was an astonishing bequest and one of the greatest gifts of artworks ever to be transferred into public ownership.
Today, we care for the collection through research and conservation, and preserve it for future generations. Our aim is to share the collection with as broad an audience as possible.

City and Hackney & Tower Hamlets Carers Centres have partnered with the East London Foundation Trust (ELFT) to offer monthly sessions led by ELFT psychiatrists/psychologists, designed for the families, friends, and carers of adults with mental health conditions.

• Learn skills to provide care and support for your loved ones.
• Connect with others who share similar experiences and challenges.
This new group is for carers who want to explore their green fingers, we are lucky to have a plot at the Crossrail Canary Wharf Roof Garden and each month we will have a group tend to the plot, grow herbs for wellbeing. Carers will have to add their names to the list and each session up to 10 carers can attend so, it will be first come first served.
