Carers Survey
Every year the Carers Centre asks carers to share their experiences. Not only of the support they receive from Carers Centre Tower Hamlets, but also of the realities of caring.
Our 2026 Annual Carers Survey provides us with valuable insight into what carers value most and where we can improve.
Listening honestly to feedback – both positive and critical – helps ensure our services continue to be shaped by carers.
The survey findings are considered alongside feedback gathered throughout the year through carers’ forums, events, compliments, complaints and day-to-day conversations. Together, these sources help us understand what carers value and where improvements are needed.
What were the key findings?
Overall, the survey presents a positive picture of carers’ experiences of Carers Centre Tower Hamlets. High levels of satisfaction and willingness to recommend the organisation suggest that carers continue to value the support they receive. At the same time, the findings highlight the ongoing pressures experienced by unpaid carers and identify opportunities to strengthen communication and accessibility.

How will the Carers Centre use the findings?
While many of the survey findings were positive, we recognise there are always opportunities to improve. The priorities below reflect the most common themes raised by respondents and will inform our work during 2026–27.
Communication: improving newsletters, website and event information
Working carers: we will be exploring more online and evening opportunities to support carers
Involvement: increase opportunities for co-production
We will report back on our progress through future engagement with carers, including the monthly carers forums, and in next year’s Annual Carers Survey Report.
