Get a chance to look after yourself
Carers need time to themselves, for their own health and wellbeing. It is important for most of us to have opportunities to recharge our batteries. It is especially important for carers. Do you sometimes feel isolated? Maybe you have backpain or stress or other conditions connected to your caring role? Make sure you take time out to relax and de-stress.
What The Carers Centre Tower Hamlets does: therapy days
Therapy days are a chance to have complementary massage therapies by appointment to help you relax and de-stress. The therapists are either qualified or in training on an accredited course. Carers’ reactions
I found the therapy to be brilliant. I feel so much less stressed out.
It helps me relax so well. Thank you very much for the services provided, they have really improved my ‘feel good factor’ and helped me to carry on caring.
Therapy days run from 10.30am to 2.30pm on the first Monday of the month at The Carers Centre.
