Relaxation day

Get a chance for time out

Carers need time to themselves, for their own health and wellbeing.  It is important for most of us to have opportunities to recharge our batteries. It is especially important for carers. Do you sometimes feel isolated? Maybe you have backpain or stress or another condition connected to your caring role? Make sure you take time out to relax and de-stress.

What The Carers Centre Tower Hamlets does: relaxation days and coffee mornings

Have a day of relaxation, enjoy a light lunch, and meet and socialise with other carers, away from their caring situation. Join in a chair disco exercise class or an arts and crafts session. You can also have pre-booked massage therapy.

Relaxation days run from 10.30am to 3pm on the fourth Wednesday of the month at The Carers Centre.

Coffee mornings run on the second Saturday of the month at The Carers Centre. These weekend mornings are another opportunity to get out of the house to socialise. Have an informal chat with other carers and staff if you need them.
