This is an air quality alert provided by the Mayor of London. You are receiving it because the air pollution in London is forecast to go above “Low” on the Defra Daily Air Quality Index. Please see further information below.

This is the advice for a High air pollution alert, based on Defra’s national Daily Air Quality Index.

Advice for the general population Advice for at risk individuals
Anyone experiencing discomfort such as sore eyes, cough or sore throat should consider reducing activity, particularly outdoors.* Adults and children with lung problems, and adults with heart problems, should reduce strenuous physical exertion, particularly outdoors *, and particularly if they experience symptoms. People with asthma may find they need to use their reliever inhaler more often. Older people should also reduce physical exertion.
