Hello Everyone

Today I am writing this blog entry from the Carers Centre as it is my first day back in the office.  As always it is fantastic being with colleagues, I do love and respect them, as I will have been at the centre for 10 years in early February 2021.

As I mentioned here is another Christmas picture to get you in the mood, as you can tell I love Christmasssss

Coaching for unpaid carers

Great to see carers joining yesterday’s Carers Forum.  Brilliant presentation on Coaching for Unpaid Carers and what life coaching can mean for a carer, how to work towards changing one aspect of your life for the better.

The theme of the first workshop will be on time management- looking at how you can best use your time and energy to do the things you want to do, including:

  1. Valuing and prioritising yourself and your needs
  1. Being assertive, setting boundaries and saying no, asking for help
  1. Making a commitment to yourself and sticking to your plan

The workshop will be held on Thursday 28th of January on zoom and will run from 10:45am until 12:30pm. If you are interested but can’t make this date, let us know as we will be running the same workshop again later in the year. The workshops that Coaching for Unpaid Carers run usually cost £50 per person, and the value of a coaching session is £100 so make the most of this amazing opportunity! Many thanks to London Catalyst for enabling us to offer this to you. Places will be limited so if you sign up please commit to attending and if you have to cancel please let us know so we can offer to space to someone on the waiting list.
