Hello Everyone

How was your first weekend out of lockdown, did you doing anything exciting?  To the carers who celebrate Christmas are you looking forward to it this year or are you dreading it?  For me Christmas day will be pretty much like normal, as I like a quiet day at home, with my partner and the pets.

So I thought as a bit of fun, I would start a countdown to Christmas with seasonal pictures to make you smile.  If you have any pictures that you wish to share, then I would love that, please send them in tony@ccth.org.uk

Dementia

I saw this and thought it was a beautiful poem from a son to his Dad.  This is for anyone caring for a parent with Dementia, you do an amazing job and you are valued more than you know.

When I could remember

I am very keen to re-start the peer support group for carers of someone with Dementia 2021, this will be done when it is safe to do so.

Before I do this, I need to find out if this is something that carers want or need.  Would you be kind enough to feedback to me via email or if you want to have a confidential chat then please contact me tony@ccth.org.uk or ring 07547733698
